Panic Attack with Heartburn

For those of you out there who happens to have panic attack disorder and also Heartburn, it’s is not the end of the world. Trust me, cause I’m one of the few. In this unique situatio, you will have to be extra careful as with slight disturbance to the esophagus and stomach, you might find that your food is coming out from your mouth and that could triggered the panic attack…..believe me…i learnt it the hard way.

Here are some tips that you could utilised.
1. Do not eat a full meal. Break down the meal to different time, have a smaller meal twice instead of one large meal. And make it as consistant as possible.
2. Try to avoid wearing a tight fitting cloth. I know this as well. I’m a general bloke, slim…..but just have a mild bump on my tummy, thanks to beer session last times. So, wearing a fitting clothing make you look cool and nice, but you will need to suck up the tummy which after 2 hour and especially after meal will cause you to have heartburn….hahaha.
3. Exercise. You will need to exercise no matter what. By doing exercise, you will actually increase your body metabolism and prep up your body. Not to mention loosing weight at the same time and have a good Cardio.
4. Do not take too much chillies, or any spicy food. This will cause heartburn and irritate your stomach and esophagus.
5. When panic attack happen after you have a meal, just breath as normal as you can and find a relaxing and quiet place to sit down or lie down.
6. If you know you’re going for a buffet, and wish to have a lot of food (so that you don’t waste your money…i know), have a anti-asid tablet first ( I use Gaviscon). And remember to control your eating. Do not eat till your stomach’s about to burst. Also avoid alcoholic drink if you’re going for the food mountain.

I know this is all about give and take. And you will need to have a stong control power over yourself. You choose to enjoy the food and suffer later, or enjoy with limited food and still feel good after that. So, good luck.
